Default cai question

not the usual one either.

there is a thread on here somewhere about a dyno comparison between several cai's. either im slightly retarded or just can't find it buried in a thread somewhere.

I am on the fence with these damm CAI's. I don't mind spending money if it nets real SOTP results. But does it really?

If I can drop in a K&N sawzall the airbox and be just as well off for way less money I know qhich route I'm going. I did the K&N but haven't ported and polished the airbox yet.

What's the consensus?

I didn't read all the way through it, but I wonder if they tuned for each CAI. If not, that would account for the lack of added hp.
