I just started towing with mine this spring, the stupid trailer ball makes the thing say its blocked!!! Sooo aggravating... Like you said even with it "OFF" it chimes and displays a message on DIC. Haven't figured out how to handle it yet

I've been wedging lil pieces of plack plastic/rubber to aim the two inner most sensors out a bit. It's starting to work, i just need to put one or two more pieces in there. If you have small enough pieces you can't even tell there are there inless you get down and really look for them!

wow that sucks. i'm used to a single cab short bed and i'm now in a crew so this is an option i was really hoping to have. i was a bit disappointed i couldn't find what i wanted with this specific option but now hearing your issues with it maybe i'm better off with out it.

I don't even use my sensors. I just watch my rear camera. I Hope bypassing them works!

i was partially interested in the camera but the couple i drove that showed up in the mirror i had problems with. i wear polarized sunglasses and every time i looked at it there was kind of a rainbow effect. if you know how it looks with polarized lenses and window tint it's the same as that. plus sadly it was another option i couldn't find with the rest of them that i wanted.
