I just picked up a 09 gmc cc w/t with the 5.3 lc9 and 6l80e. I want it to sound mean with NO! drone especially durning dod mode. Has anyone done the catted ARH long tubes with the stock catback?

 

I would think that just the fact you will go from cast to stainless steel that its going to be louder. Everyone that has put headers on say that its louder. The only way to make DOD quiet i throw in in a box in the corner of your garage!

As far as exhaust goes yes. Truck has a lysholm twin screw.
