Cool Almost 13s!!!

Yesterday i took my truck to the track to see if i could improve my 14.3s and to my suprise this is what happend!!

Closed cutout
60ft-2.166
1/8 -9.146 @78.5
1/4 -14.16 @96.8

Opend cuout
60ft-2.204
1/8 -9.115 @79.3
1/4 -14.09 @97.8

BTW, I lowered the psi on the stock 245/70s to 20psi's, and my truck would still let them loose once it reached the 3k rpm mark all the way to second gear. Upcomming mods are borla or magnaflow muffler to shed some weight off the stock trash can bin lookalike muffler, Asp pulley (should i buy the alt pulley also?) and some 28"OD drag radials. this should be enough to be in the 13s right? Thanks for looking

The tires alone should get you there.

I think GMCtrk is right. I also think vehicles will continue to get heavier as the GOVT mandates more safety eqpt. & people cont. to + more options.
