Default 6.2 Stroker

So I found a stroker kit using standard bore for our 6.2's to make it a 416 with scat forged crank and rods and probe forged pistons. Is it possible to replace the rotating assembly without removing the block? Thanks guys.

It could be done but there's no way in hell I'd waste my money on good parts and half *** a build. It's nearly impossible to check all of the tolerances with the block still in the truck and it will take longer too. Cylinders will need a good hone. Rings file fitted. Rotating assembly balanced.

As mentioned above, Don't bother. The only thing left in the truck would be the block.

I see a crank disaster coming from that haha
its stressful enough dropping the crank in let alone trying to hold it up and put the main bearing caps on!
do it right or don't at all cause whatd end up happening is it'll fail and then you'd need all the parts again PLUS a block!

Yeah, This thread gets the dumbest question of the week award. Was day dreaming in the middle of a 13 hour shift at work.

That's sad to hear cause like 6 years ago I did a sbc 383 and the scat crank was good quality back then
