4.8L Dog
I have a 2013 Silverado 4.8L, single cab short wheelbase with 323 gears. I installed a set of Speed Engineering longtube headers and off road y-pipe ( nice headers for the price by the way and fit good). I had the tune done after install and had all the torque management taken out, tighter shift points and a little more timing put in it. I could understand why it wouldn't do any kind of tire spinning before and felt like a dog down low. But now it still won't even spin the tires and still feels like a dog from a stop. What am I missing here with this engine? It's a 302hp and 305TQ engine with extras and no weight over the rear tires and still feels like a dog. My wife has a Hyundai with less then 200hp that will spin tires.

Stall
I know I have a 4L60E trans in the truck. What does everyone recommend for a stall for this truck. I will probably put an aftermarket cam in it at some point. I don't want a huge cam but want it to make good power. If a stall will help the most I will do that first to see how it feels. I'm just looking to run mid to low 14's without a power adder. I was also thinking of doing a 390 gear.

Well my truck same as yours with 4.10s and locker, cam longtube headers (turbo in progress) and 3200 stall ran a best of 14.4 on heavy *** 20s. They closed san antonio raceway just when a buddy was gonna lend me his 28" radials so now ill never know what it will really run. Btw you dont really want to smoke the tires, spinnin aint winning lol.
