2011 brakes suck! Options?

Oh ok, not a bad option either, i can see the bigger rotors and some Hawk pads be a pretty good upgrade?

You don't live in the salt belt, so you wouldn't have seen the numerous issues with the half ton GMT800 rear discs. They were a constant issue. Pads would wear out in 30k miles, drag, squeal, warp, etc. All from salt spray/rust. Once they switched to drums, there were no more issues from the rear.

As for the stock brakes fading from a 120mph run...It is a truck that weighs 5000+ lbs. It is not a sports car.

I would recomend a set of EBC rotors up front first and see if that solves the warping and fading issues. The front brakes really are pretty good outside of those issues and I doubt the rear drums are holding anyone back much.
