2011 5.3 to a LY6 or L76?

My bad guys forgot about this thread well still have not got any more info about the 6.2 reg cab 6 speeds. One of my buddies was talking with a dealer in edinburg about these and said they can be CONVERTED by the dealer. They priced one out for him and came out to 28 and change for a plain w/t with a 6.2 6 speed no power anything. I guess what there doing is ordering them 5.3 to get the 6 speed and just reselling the 5.3 after they swap them. Now from I understood of what he was tellin me it can only be done on 2010 + because both engines have vvt and all that is needed to swap is motor and programming.
