20" tire size on 4/7 drop

Just a note, offset is dictated by the width of the wheel you want to use and the look you want. Since offset is measured from the centerline of the wheel, if you had 2 wheels with the same offset but one is 8" wide and the other is 10" wide then the 10" wide wheel would stick outside of the fender line. Therefore, the 10" wheel would need more offset. This is why a 8.5" wide wheel uses 19mm offset and a 10" wheel uses something more like 30mm offset to get the same look. Sometimes the wheel width and offset cause fitment problems with inner fenders, suspension parts and whatever.

Back to the OP question, I have an '08 extended cab with a 4x7 drop. I use Torq Thrust ST wheels 20" diameter and 8.5" wide with a 19mm offset. Tires are 265/50R20 Yokohama Parada Spec-X. Absolutely no issues with this set-up and the tires/wheels are just maybe 1/8" inside the fender line.

no not yet. i gotta order the tires and notch the frame so i dont bust a wheel.
