My regular cab 4.3L now does 0-60 in around 13 seconds. Used to do it in 8 or 9 seconds. I believe I need to replace the timing chain... what do you think?

'86 Silverado with a bone stock 305. It's supposed to have around, a wopping, 160 hp and about 200 lb. ft. torque. Needs a new carb, so I'll be happy to be moving at all soon.

Thats when the modding began. Done some minor stuff and thought and thought it was pretty fast again...until I got to race the 4.8. Well I don't need to tell the outcome but more money must be spent

hell and you thought ponchos truck was fast, i can walk away from him with out nitrous like nuthin...just think whats its like with 150 shot..ill give ya a ride when i get my new trans and stall.. so i here your finally gonna tune that bitch..you still wantin to go with a speed density tune?

My truck feels slow because it IS. It's 500HP shy of what I really want from it. Cheap stuff on the market today gives me good runs all the time. Oh well.

My other car is slow too. It's a 100% stock '73 Super Beetle. 80MPH is the vehicle's maximum velocity and reaching it is such an accomplishment I snapped a photo one day to commemorate it.

yea i had that feeling, my truck doesnt move anymore till the new driveline is in. i drive daily a 88 5.0 notchback that went 13.3 before with nnothing done to it and to me its slow as hell cause im used to my truck or my girls TA. so my notch is the slowest thing im used to
