So Im on Interstate yesterday going back to work from lunch and since I got the LS1 put in 3 days ago Ive been searching really really hard for something to race(regardless of what it is) well I see a Muffstain in the distance that looked a little different so I get up on its ***. It ends up being a Rousch so Im kind of excited because you would think someone who buys a Rousch would like to race anyone! I get off its *** and pull up next to it and Im reving up at it when my old lady tells me thats a girl. The bitch looked over at me and flipped me off and still didnt get on it. I swear everytime I pull up on something that looks like it has mods it ends up being a girl that will never race me. Im frustrated. Cant wait to get to the strip!

 

Some people buy hp cars because they like the way they look or other reasons that seem stupid to motorheads. I know a guy who had a 94 Trans Am who I'm sure never red-lined it in any gear. They'd be afraid of the acceleration,the law, breaking something or some combination of things like that.

 

your lucky you werent running my wife in that car, she would tear some *** if some one tried to race her even if she lost. She's a speed freak like me "sometimes".

 

Tell me about it! This is no **** at all but damn near everytime my old lady drives my truck she comes home talking about some ****** that she had to race or how she did a burnout or something! Ive created a monster. It scares me to because I know how she drives. Hell I think she was more excited about the LS1 than I was! Well maybe not but close!

 

Man you guys are doing pretty well! My girl lets me enjoy my hobby and even helps with it, but when I get on it, it scares the **** out of her. She gets scared when I tell her with such enthusiasm that its going to be alot faster by the end of this year than it currently is.
Your truck is most definately in a different league than mine, but I never seem to get anything around here either that wants to play. I had a shot at a C32 AMG yesterday ( I know I wouldve gotten handled), but there was too much traffic and I wasnt going to risk anything.

 

I don't let my girlfriend drive my truck. She'd end up killing us both, and she's been as big of an investment as my truck has been.

 

I hear you there. My girlfriend loves the truck, but when I get a little crazy with it, she screams like we're going to die. Of course, I would probably scream like a little girl if I let her drive. She has NO skills when it comes to driving, and I've got too much money/time invested in this thing. She did get a kick out of launching on that new Mustang though.

 

Im still laughing at that one, but its SO TRUE!!
