Default Who makes a starter suited for higher CR engines?

I broke the corner of of my starter awhile back when I torqued the bolt too much. It still holds and works fine but I figured I might as well get a new one when I swap in my 408.
I'm going up in compression to 10.5:1. Will an OEM starter but up for the task? I figured I'd just get a starter with more Tq if there is one available.
Thanks!

Stocker will be fine. I had my stocker when I was ~11.3:1.

When my 5.3 blew up it took out my starter and I put an ls1 starter on my 6.0 when I put it in. The last set of heads on my 370 the compression was 11.5:1 and it turned over just fine with no problems at all. I'd like to know if sbc starters are the same as ls1 style starters. I've got a cheap mini starter from smileysracing.com 7 years ago that's was on my 13:1 355 and 14.5:1 377 with no problem.

Ok, so the OEM will be fine. I see OEM's for sale at $100 or so up to $160. If I can pick up o high tq starter for the same and even cheaper I don't see any reaon not to...do you?

if you can get a higher torque starter for close to the same price i would go that route, but the OEM starter would be fine
