Hell...and I thought you were suppose to run that **** out of it..Hahaha...I bought my truck originally to pull my 4000lb boat and I almost always gave it hell. The look on two guys face in a older body style Z71 that tried to outrun me as I passed them pulling a boat at 95 was...PRICELESS !!!

Here is another thread about mileage

I got over 270,000 miles on my 99 silverado 2500, the only thing I had to replace on it was the water pump, fuel pump, alternator, and regular maintenance stuff.

it just dont seem possible that an engine can last that long, there is something to that story that he didnt tell, it has got to be rebuilt, i know a guy that is over 350,000 miles and that engine definatly has cancer, bad, they just plain wear out.

It's definatley possible. Keep the oil changed and regular tune-ups and keep it running and don't let it set up too long and they are almost like Energizer bunnies...Reminds me of my grandfather when he was still alive...he went in for surgery at the VA hospital and was in for a couple of weeks and he insisted, no...demanded, that we started his car everyday to let it warm up. The longest I think I let my truck set up is like 4 or 5 days while on vacation and then I'm pretty easy on it till it warms up to operating temp...
