My buddy has a 93 Lightning with a turbo 408 that has went 10.71 at 124. 2 nights ago I was riding his bumper at about 50 mph and he hit it so I did too. By 100mph I had to lift beacause I was about to run over him and I couldn't get in the other lane because there was traffic coming.

i would love to get into the 10's but im really just hoping to hit mid 13's with my truck.

L-EATER, you didn't have the air pushing on you if you were about to run over him. He was moving it all for you, and up that fast, the air plays a major role on us brick shaped race trucks.

Yeah, I know that makes me sound like a hypocrite, but I am more worried about breaking the rearend or driveshaft at the track with sticky tires than I am just kicking it down for a few seconds on the street.
