Parish,

Are you using the same camshaft from the LQ4 for the 408?

Maybe I can be in the 10's but probably not anytime soon. I will be purchasing the turbo pretty soon and do some little stuff but no 10's right now-I'll get there oneday though.

The 454SS was run from essentially 90-93. It had a standard issue 454 big block out of the RV line up. Nothing really special about it. Was TBI and rated at 230rwhp 385rwtq if I remember correctly. I owned a 90' model back in 93' and loved it. Wasn't the fastest thing out but with Doug Thorley headers, no cats, and a Jet chip it went 14.7 on a 2.0 60'. Pretty cool for a weak *** 454BB LOL

These are after I sold it to my best friend. I had a 4x6" drop and he then bagged it. I did all the outside mods. He did the interior in tweed.

Sorry to jack the thread Parish. .

I am too heavy and too poor to hit 10s but I hope to be well into the 11s by next year. Bigger motor, more boost on the STS kit. Then maybe try out a front mount for ***** and giggles.
