Man, why y'all hatin' on the bling? There's nothing wrong with having a good looking truck that's fast.

So for all you "haters..."

Scream,
Just my opinion but the typical car and truck just
dont look good with 20's, 22's, 24's
Here is what I see all the time
Pearl White Esky with 24's - the spacing between the body
and tires is too big
and the tires stick out past the body....
It is reverse of the 13" gold spokes with spacers that stick 6 inches
beyond the fenders. Sorry.

I do feel real "custom" cars - trucks look good with them.
Norm they are stuck up and in the body and sitting on bags.
ex.... street rods, Chicayne, cars like that.
Tasteful. The true custom vehicles.
My opinion.
I am not hatin' just selective.....

I think its bad *** when a truck can ride around with big rims and still move them when they stomp on the gas. There are quite a few near me with 26's. There are tons of suvs and Ext's around here with 24's, my best friend has a pearl white 03 with 23's and a sweet system with an alpine screen.
He prefers his truck to be totally bling. After me getting after him for a while he tossing around the idea of throwing N20 on there for fun.
Scream: I think your truck is awesome. Show and Go are very rare. When Im done with the performance stuff I may get a set of 22 inch lightweight Centerlines. That should definately throw people off. I'll just have to use a small shot out of the hole to get them moving

I don't want y'all to think I'm mad or anything...I just wanted a reason to post my Rick James stuff.

It just seems like at some point yesterday afternoon someone pressed the "anti-bling" button! LOL

I'm anti-Bling because the area I work at is pretty ghetto and every damned SUV I see is trying to run 22s+ on some tiny *** tire, Altezza lights, playing the same damned rap song over and over tryin to pimp. I just can't stand the ghetto rap mentality so when it starts transfering over to their cars it bugs the crap out me.

That's my reason. Plus I think anthing bigger than a 20' on an SUV starts to make em look at as cool as a covered wagon.

But that's just me. So I run around on ugly stock silverado 16s smoking every truck that dares try to floor it near me with his HP robbing 24's!

Ohh and when they get mad and turn up their beat I swap my disc to either some George Strait (bass heavy songs) or Fear Factory (hard core) and drown their crap out. Makes em mad to know I'm faster and sound better

some anti bling gets missdirected so i'm here to balance it out........my 02 ecsb with 22's and bags is no slouch.....i'd line it up with any of you and make you nervous..........second wheel and tire size makes or brakes you but just as bad as a esky with bad spacing whats up with the rednecks who lift thier trucks and don't up size tires so theres like three feet of wheel well?....see it all the time.....does that mean i'm anti-rodeo ......to each his own judge thy self.......get home safe onyx

Myself ... I like the plain jane, but unique look. I pt 17's on my truck when I put wheels and tires on. I went with 17's because of the price mainly. I would have gone with 18's had price not been an issue. I'm glad I went with 17's though cause I think it resembles factory, but it just looks a little different. I get complemented on my truck ALL THE TIME. I had an older lady at McDonald's drive thru tell me she liked my truck. I caught her checking it out as I was leaving. Last time I was at the track, several people came up to me and complemented on how it looked. One time I was driving through the pits and some little kids were talking about how they wanted one like mine when they got big. The stories go on ... I'm not into flashy stuff. It's bright blue, that's as flashy as I want it. It's stock height, the ONLY thing apperance wise I've done to it is the new wheels and tinting the windows.

As for the 20's .. I'm not a fan of them. It's to much rim IMO. 20's look good on very few vehicles. I also think there is a right way and a wrong way to drop a vehicle. Most all of the drops I have seen look horrible I think. If it doesn't have a good stance ... If you have a good stance, it doesn't take much to make it look nice.

I'm not using the word bling, but I want a CLEAN ride that backs up its good looks with power.
