Default What way would you go?

I am in the process of putting together a 408 for a street/bracket racer, I am starting to look for a truck to drop it into. I have been planning on a 2500HD RCLB so I have a 4L80e trans and the heavy duty rear end, but I do like the look of a RCSB. But then I am looking at swapping the trans and rear end, will a 4L80e and the 14 bolt rear bolt up in a RCSB 1/2 ton truck or do you have to modify mounting locations?

Yes, several stickies on doing a 14 bolt swap. A member here makes a nice bolt in transmission cross member for a great price. I an LQ4/80E in my previous truck an will be swapping it into my current truck. It was a fairly straightforward swap.
