Default what causes this...

Recently, I started noticing that when I lower my powered windows, I hear this annoying squeeky noise, all the way till it stops, but when raised, the squeekyness stops. Not sure if its the glass or the motor. Any ideas what is causing this? Thanks in advance

Just pop off the door panels and spray down the window trac with some white lithium spray. its a good place to start. my buddy owns a body shop and he says usually that will fix the squeak.

yea any autoparts store will carry it. you will need to wipe off the overspray that gets on the glass. run the window up and down a few times you might need to spray it a few times but the prob should go away

Check the belt mouldings also (the felt things that ride against the window, at the base of the window on the outside and inside). Often time, dirt and stuff builds up on the belt mouldings and may cause squeaks when the window is operated. Unfortunately, there's really no lube that you can spray on them or the window will get coated, just try to clean them off real good. Usually it's the outer one that will give you problems...
