okay guys. im considering buying a vette. it has been a dream of mine for a while. im wondering what you guys would do. should i get a zo6 and slightly modify it or get a regular C6 and supercharge it and put some money into the body ( ie. z06 hood and such ). i know it would be cheaper to do the C6 route and money is an option but not predominantly. let me know as if you were in my shoes and why you would choose that route. thank guys. cheers.

I would do the C6 and turbo it. Nothing better than a 700+hp vette

 

What is your goal? Cruise, drag, autocross, HPDE, time trials, etc.

For a street cruiser go with the C6, newer and more comfortable. For occasional Drag racing/cruising look at the SC/C6 however, look at local regs about roll bars and sub 12's, for autocross/hpde/time trials go with Z06. You can't beat wider tires/lighter/better looking.

 

c6, your going to mod both either way so why not start with a more updated one with an LS2

Get the Z06,you only live once.

 

I say Z06 it awesome just the way it is. even if you don't mod it you will be very happy.

 

Get the C6/Z51 and mod it.
