I happened to run my truck over the scale at work the other day and was 4990LBS. My trucks a 1999 RCSB 4x4 full tank spare tire and some junk in the cab. but does that seem to be a little heavy for what I have?

That Colorado weight is about the same as a Corvette; what configuration is your truck?

I have two friends with vettes, and one of the cars is actually only 19 lbs. lighter than what my truck is. Right now the truck is on a virtually stock motor, 2.8 peanut motor with the exception of a replacement aluminum head that served as a replacement for the old head on the motor that was causing a compression problem. It was a factory improvement of sorts. The truck has a gutted manifold, no cats, magnaflow long case, k&n tapped with a nx proton plus kit (usually run a 70/100 shot), tr6's/stalled 4L60 with shift kit, servos, etc./3.73 rear with a **** G80 in it/HPTuners and a few other random things. Not much is available for these atlas engines as far as performance goes, but I'm currently building an LS to go in the truck. Hoping for some decent street truck times.

yeah, now I'm curious what my rcsb 4x4 would weigh in at?? I couldn't imagine it being a full 700lbs more than a 2wd with turbo and intercooler...? hmmm...
