Default Crack where my elbow sits

The part where my left elbow sits on the door has a crack. Has anyone ever put a material or glue into the crack to stop it from spreading?

I've tried both adhesives and epoxies and generally found it to be easier to just replace the door panel. I can glue the crack and then 3 more show up elsewhere on the armrest.
