well now I've done It. just got a 6.0L

Default well now I've done It. just got a 6.0L

just got my spring performance project, just bought a LQ4 6.0L complete engine. Going to pull it apart and look at it, if everything is A OK, it gets a new cam port the heads, then it goes in the burb.

buy a set ARP rod bolts and some studs while it's torn apart and do what you can to help it while it's not in the truck.

hey, slowverado, I'm just screwing around today, was going to go down to grand Prairie and browse throught the pick a parts. just for *****. I emailed bigTex about getting together for beers. haven't heard from him yet, give me a call.

Welcome to the club Don't know when I'll get started on mine. Waiting on some P/P prices. Also may get the valve covers and coil mounts powdercoated. Any sponsers do this?

Hey, where do all you guys find your 6.0s? Ive called a few junk yards and they all said they dont have anything that new. How much do they normally run?

I got mine on ebay for complete 2001 LQ4 6.0L for $1000.oo + probably 175-250 to ship there was a shortblock that sold for $375 and it was like 150 miles from me but I missed it.

it all depends i've seen them around locally 6.0L, in the tradin' times but you have to move fast.
