i put a k&n cold air intake on my 03 5speed 4.3 yesterday and as ive been sayin bout my third gear this k&n woke it up pretty dramatically it was crazy

Cool. Mine helped out a bit. Tune helped out a lot also

 

Some others guys on here said that the tune for the 4.3 wasnt worth it, u have a MT or AT?

 

The first thing I did on my RC Stepside when i bought it was put a cold air intake on, its definitely worth the money. U have a throttle body spacer on it? I 'm thinkin bout puttin one on it. Just FYI ebay has some throttle body spacers for our 4.3's for 90 bucks.

 

 

If you want to throw away 90 bucks, there is probably a homeless man that would enjoy it.
