5.3 is an ls1, but it is not a 5.7.

Not sure if it was moded or not. Couldn't hear w/ my truck.
Well, the engine is LS1 based, it would have been difficult to explain yelling out the window at 80 mph. lol
I went from 3.42 to 3.90 and didn't really show a difference at the track, but my truck was stock. i know it is helping now.
Thanks.

Very impressive for sure being n/a. I'm really impressed that you're running 12's without a power adder in a 4400lbs truck.

I'd just like you all to know my truck will not run 12's year round, only during the winter b/c of cool dry air. I pulled the vig. and put the stock converter back in while waiting on the tt3000(which was ordered 4 weeks ago ) so it's like a dog out the whole but really kicks *** on top end. I ran it a couple of weeks ago in the heat just as I drive it on the road and run 13.5's with a little wheel hop. I hope i'll get .3-.4 from the yank which would put me about 13.1-2's. come winter time, hopefully i'll be back in there again. Didn't want you guys to think i'm a bull *******.

I figured you just didn't want to explain anything to him but I would have said no to really **** the guy off.

You should look into fitting on some qa1 shocks up front. What size tire do you run at the track?
