Default UPS rant

Ordered a Diablo Predator from JP Customs Sunday night, excelent customer service and support so no fault to them.

My package was delivered yesterday at 6:30pm. Got home this morning and guess what, no package. I have told them several times not to leave anything at my door since I work nights a lot. They even left an IBM laptop sitting there once, with IBM in big letters facing the street.

Called UPS and talked to a very friendly lady who appolegized for the problems and told me this happens frequently and I had to contact my shipper (already done) and they would have to issue a tracing order (or something like that) She also said it could take up to 9 months but is usually done in 5 days. This is on UPSs part.

OK, done ranting. Anyone else had simular problems with UPS??????

Unless they required a signature when it was shipped to you UPS did what they are suppose to do.

That sucks man. They have done the same thing with some of the stuff I have ordered but they were smart enough to hide it a little.

I'm sure it'll work out OK. Let's just hope it doesn't take 9 months.

On these thing you usually will hear something in a week at the most. UPS did there part. Somebody must have been watching because UPS tries their best to hide most of ther packages they deliver if possible. It is not always UPS's fault most of the which most people like blaming them first. But in this situaion it maybe some of their fault. If it was FedEX good luck with getting customer support.

Watch for that thing to pop up on ebay from ur area, lol.

Someone I know stole a whole freakin 5 box set of a bowflex right off the persons door step...

They rang the door bell to see if anyone was there and than just took it. I could only imagine that they had a good story IF someone did answer the door.. but tht takes some *****.. to steal 5 boxes which on average were like 40-45lbs each. People will do anything for a few bucks.. well in their case.. they sold it on ebay for a "few" $1400... could have bought some lt's and a good tune with that.. damn theives!!

I hope your truck doesn't have the L33 motor because it won't work. I got one back in February, doesn't work. Called Cole at Diablosports, he said they'd have an update for the new motor in a week. Didn't happen. Now, it seems, Diablosports is avoiding my emails and phone calls. Here it is April 14th and no update.
If anyone has the 5.3 HO all aluminum motor, DO NOT BUY A PREDATOR!!!!
IT WILL NOT WORK!! They don't list this anywhere on their site, and their
supporting vendors don't either. Now the place where I bought the Predator
is saying I will have to pay 30 bucks to ship it back to them.
I wish I never bought this thing. I even asked the vendor back when I bought it, if it would work with the new motor. Yes it will, is what I was told.
But, now that I've said all that, if you have a CC, you probably don't have the 5.3 HO.

I have the 6.0 so hopefully I'm OK. Did you try to get a refund on the Predator? I'm under the understanding they offer a 30 day money back guarantee if your not satisfied with it (Per their website).


Update: UPS called last night, so I called them this morning. They're going to call JP Customs and tell them to ship out a replacement. I guess that 9 month thing is just to worry the hell out of people. LOL.

So far this has been a very plesant experience. Now let's just hope it gets here before I go out of town next Tuesday.
