thanks guys for your input.

My shiftpoints are at 6400 and limiter is at 6700. hehe..
One thing I do know is that my 3rd to 4th shift is set around 5500 RPMS or so, maybe if I just leave it in 3rd instead of D, Ill just stay in 3rd gear and use the all the RPM's until 6700 or wherever it will be.

I still say raise them all. It sounds like it was short shifting, really bad on the 3-4.

Also .. I bet your converter is locking up as soon as you hit 3rd. That might yiel a little better time, but sacrifice some mph.

Yea, next time I'll race.. I will leave it in 3rd. I just need to get a window switch so I wont hit the limiter (just incase).

I am not sure if my converter is locking up or not, I dont think it is, my tach needle is pointing north the whole way.
