Default In-Truck Video: 13.1 at 105

I made 3 passes at the track in San Antonio a week or so ago. I was hoping for a 12 second pass on street tires, but I couldn't manage to do it.

Here is a in-truck video of my passes, http://www.itlxlr8.com/vids/MM-Small.wmv (Right Click, Save target as) . I was hitting the juice at the top of 1st gear. In the last run you will hear someone talking, that is the commentator talking through the track's radio station. I was thinking he was going to annouce my time, instead he was talking about another race that was going to start.

Anyway, I noticed that I was going into overdrive. I am running 30" tall toyo proxes tires, but I also think I was spinning enough to run out of gear. Do you guys think with a 28" slick I will be able to stay out of overdrive because I'll be hooking instead of spinning?

I just stabbed a 3-legged tripod between the seats, right behind the bench seat. Two of the legs extend out of the sides, and the 3rd leg of the tripod just extends towards the back of the cab.

I just tried it and it happened to work.
