rev it to 3000 rpm for like to 2mins so it can get all the air bubbles out. if it start to over heat while doing the 3000 rpm revs shut off let it cold down restart it all over...

make sure your fans are working..check relays fuses, when your truck over heating make sure anytime your working with coolant to make the heater is on high.....

Check for heat coming out of the vents. If it's super hot like normal, then you have NO air in the system. If it's barley warm or cold then there is air. The coolant resivor is below the hoses to the heater core. Which sucks *** for bleeding the coolant system. I would rev at 2-3 rpms for 2-3 min or until the heater out of the vents are hot. Then let off and fill full of fluid.
