Default truck gets owned

well, sort of, he was pulling on me up top but didn't want to run from a stop. these races were about 40mph up to 130+mph. his car is awd too but he isn't ready to hammer it out of the hole, just got it running and thinks he may break some driveline parts. i had my cut out open on one of those runs.

Thats pretty impressive. Looks like he doesnt start pulling until your lack of aerodynamics really becomes a major factor.

Parish, you've got to consider that our trucks have the frontal area of a small building and the aerodynamics of a brick.Every additional 10 mph faster at the start, you give the car you are having to make up with about 4 times the hp he is having to produce to overcome the aerodynamic drag, the numbers finally catch up no matter how much power you can produce. You would absolutely kill that car from a roll and build such an embarrassing lead he would give up.

It's making 61/2 to 7lbs of boost with the 3" pulley,I'm hoping for 8 1/2 lbs with the 2.75" pulley.I'll have it strapped to a dynojet next week for some tuning.

I friend of mine had one that would run 11's we would drop the clutch at the rev limiter. He ended up taking out the trans and center diff in one shot.

Parish,it looked like you were getting a big power increase from your open cutout, are you running the new header and downpipe yet?And thanks for posting the new video,I look forward to seeing some new track times and videos,I pulled into a local speed shop in Memphis and they were talking about your truck, those videos really do get around.
