Hey guys,I was just wondering how many people on here have had trans problems on their 07+new body style trucks.Mine blew up at 15,000 miles.It basically wouldnt shift out of second gear.It started out just doing it when cold but over about a week got to where it wouldnt go past 2nd at all.Mine was covered of course just was wondering if theres any more of these problems out there.

 

The rear stator support bushing failed, scoring the input shaft and sealing rings and eventually burning the 3-4 clutches. It's a common problem.

 

Just got mine back today. Blew 2-4th out last week. 72K on the truck.

 

I've sold 27 4L60E's for these trucks last year...total.

 

I don't get it?

I have 36k on mine. I have had the corvette servo in there since 29k. But threads like this make me so damn nervous to even drive my truck now lol

 

mine blew at 20K , all clutches burned/ imput-output shafts in several pieces / got me a build 1 . .

So basically im gonna have this problem for as long as i own the truck unless i get a built trans?

 

IMO,if you run a stock transmission,they are ticking time bombs.You never know when they will go
