Default Trans for 5.3 vortec?

OK short story Building a 34 pickup was going to use a ZZ4 with Holley Commander 950 MPI and a new built 200r4 for space Truck is chopped and channeled. The Holley does not work and gas prices are 5.00 gal. So I have a 5.3 Vortec with a L460e trans or complete engine and trans from a 2004 Silverado all wireing and ecu.
Looking for mpg will I get better with 200r4 or l460e? I am guessing the 200r4?
Reason is guy is going to do harrnes for motor or motor and trans also should I leave DBW or go to a cable TB?

Not so short story Thanks for the help..Jim

being that the 200r4 has a gear ratio of
1-2.74
2-1.57
3-1.00
4-0.67
and the 4l60E has
1-3.06
2-1.62
3-1.00
4-0.70

Id use the 5.3 DBW 4L60e setup and let the computer do the work.

those harnesses are easy..
all your pink wires go to fused ign power... orange goes to 12+V battery and black goes to ground..

Take the wires out you dont need.

I did a harness on my buddys 1998 (with a 5.3/4L80E) truck he doesnt have any the O2's, MAF, EGR, Oil Pressure, Evap, AC, nothing but the basics for Speed Density tuning. That harness shrunk alot!!
