tranny going out?

Default tranny going out?

on my 99 silverado, it feels when i mashed on the pedal the transmission feels like its slipping. any common problems? easy fixes?

i will rebuild a car, but i swore to never touch a transmission lol

you can put some lucas in it and hope it squeezes some life out of it, but i'd start cutting back on expenses.

Just try to take it easy during 2nd gear and try not to floor it in 3rd.
you should see what mine does. its no joke.

LOL hell no im gonna wait till i cant drive it before i replace it!!

yeah i get all my aggression out on my T/A, so i normally just roll with it and never really get on it too hard, plus gas is too expensive.

I have milked a couple weak transmissions with good success. Just replace the trans filter and fluid and clean the pan and magnet really good. I always put in a couple more magnets and a quart of "Lucas Trans Fix" than I drive it for a weak and repeat. The first trans I did that to wouldn't go into revers or past 1st gear when I started. It only took 3 changes before the magnets where spotless when I cracked it back open and it lasted 6 months of Daily Driving behind a crate 350 with an aggressive cam, open headers and a big *** holly in a full size 87 Chevy Scottsdale
