Just got back from a 4 hour traffic safety class. Damn near slit my wrist in there <img border="0" alt="[boring]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_zzz.gif" /> All this for just going triple the speed limit, talk about excessive law enforcement <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Well, it wasn't the first time and more than likely won't be the last. How 'bout you guys, any moving violation war stories lately?

 

lol well today i went to the courthouse to get a ticket dismissed and the lady wouldn't do it again even though i had my old license and last time i was there i showed her proof of insurance and she never sent my stuff off to the state so i got my license suspended while we got things figured out and it cost me a 100 bucks to get my license back and today the lady was like oh i dont think i've sent that off yet <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> so now i have court tomorrow <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

I know exactly what you mean. My license was suspended when some old lady ran into me, I had no damage but her Lincoln did. Well anyway, I told her not to worry about me and that she should take care of her damage on her own so her insurance wouldn't be affected. She agreed, but 5 months later I got arrested for driving on a suspended license-she reported me and said I showed her false proof of insurance. It took me a year of going to court every month but I got my license back.

 

hey everybody what is your record for most tickets at one stop, mine is only three but i bet some of all can do better than that. eh marc.?

 

Seven for me, the cops from my neighborhood really hated me and wrote me up for anything and everything they could. Most of them were dismissed because they wouldn't show up in court, I guess they just liked wasting my time. This was back in my "rebelious teen years."

3 within the same year is my best. Two for 25mph over and one for reckless driving. Nothing to serious but the price tag for the tickets curbed my bad habits.

 

lol ok i've gotten 30 tickets in all but my best stop was when i was doing 90+ in a 35
Here is what i got :

1. speeding
2. no turn signal
3. no turn signal
4. running from a cop
5. driving without a license
6. driving without insuracne
7. no contacts in i was missing one
8. going the wrong way on a street
9. rapid acceleration
10. turning my lights off

I was going 90+ and saw a cop then ducked into a neighbor hood and turned my lights off. Since my lights were off i didnt see the one way street sign let's just say the officer wasnt happy.
