You guys are pretty brave. I have a 6L/Radix/4.10 rear and I still was not happy with the way it pulled my 4,000 boat on a 6hr trip. To be honest, it's the reason I'm building a 408/TVS2300 combo. But maybe I'm just greedy.

If it's a short trip, like an hour or less, then I think you might be ok but I wouldn't go long hauling that thing.

Your tranny cooler is gonna need a big upgrade. I went to the 40K tru-cool and it works awesome. I see 160* no matter what I'm doing or how hot it is outside. Your brakes are gonna take a beating too. The axles were already mentioned...

When my lifted truck(03,5.3L) had its radix on it.I would tow my light little welding trailer here and there.I was let down also. These trucks are quick as hell with any blower on them. But put any trailer behind them...they pretty much act like stock again.Just my experience and opinion.Maybe I expected to much out've it.

I tow a 7000lb RV trailer with mine. I have a trailer brake, airbags, weight distribution hitch and of course, some extra power. I've been doing this for two summers and so far, no problems. It sure sucks the gas, though. Oh yeah, the blower makes ALL the difference! I tried a high-torque cam and bolt-ons first but this blower really makes it, it hardly ever gears down by itself now. To go easy on the tranny, I let off when shifting and try to stay out of boost. So far, so good.
