I don't venture anywhere other than the Internal section, the Tuning section and the Racers lounge / Mutimedia.

As long as you ask decent questions that haven't been repeated in the past - they are generally very willing to help. Especially the tuners... there is every kind of vehicle in that place.

Another thing too, sometimes people are just afraid to answer questions because they're not familiar with trucks.

Another thing...

Sometimes I 'do' feel guilty going out into other sections on the site. Mainly the Internal one.

Seeing as we have our own truck sections here, I was under the impression that we're SUPPOSED to be segregated.

Okay, so I'm a noob, but I think a truck lounge would also be cool.
It seems like people in the other sections are a little less eager to help with truck related issues. I am new to this whole LSx engine stuff, so I dont pretend to know a lot about it, I just ask questions. But, there is a lot of stuff that I am very familiar with that I have worked on many times, even for a living. I have worked in Automotive since I was 16, just because I started posting here yesterday doesnt mean I was born yesterday. In the other sections it seems like you are more likely to get called a "noob" or treated like you dont know anything based on your post count. It almost seems like there is somebody who will argue any and every point just to argue.
There are a lot of very helpful and informed people on this forum(including all the other sections), it just seems like there is more typical internet stuff going on in the other sections. Could have a lot to do with the much larger number of people that are in the other sections, dont know. All I know is that the truck section is very helpful and informative and there is a lot less arguing and flaming going on in here. So, that being said, it would be nice to have our own lounge.
Sorry if it dragged on, just trying to make a few points I guess.

No, good points 'mz'... If you hang around long enough, you'll start to see a few people that stand out who have very low post counts, but have very high technical knowlege.

I do think it's a problem with the number of people in the other sections. The Internal one is pretty stressed out. Every day there are crazy posts on there about running some very "strange" setups that nobody should really be looking to do. "Can a T-Rex work with a stock converter and 2.78 gears?" "Can I get away with stock springs on a TR cam" "Can I run 13:1 on pump gas?" (where's Roger? ) Things like that. Unfortunately a lot of them are newer members so the ones who have been around a while can be quick to draw their guns...

I don't really think it's right to judge on post count. You really have NO idea who's on the other end of things.

I don't mean to get off topic...
