Tach

I got an 8inch tach with shift light and want to put it on my Silverado.. I got it from my friend and want to know how to wire it up to my truck..

tap into the white wire behind the cluster and then wire however the instructions read...

8inch tach what now!!!well i did mine u got to cut the wires for a 4 cylinder or i wont read corecttly

Its made by Auto meter.. Its actually a 6inch.. Thinkin of puttin it in front of the stock tach.. And the shift light on th dash.
