HPT-rpm pid not supported?
I am trying to do a crank relearn.
For some reason the scanner will not pickup up my engines rpm's. The tach is working. If I clear the vehicle out of the scanner and reload the scanner. The Pid is working until I connect with the pickup. I also tried removing the pid that is not supported and adding it back in. It is not even in the PID list to add once I am connected to the truck. I have tried different configs and everything.
I also just updated my windows program and my HPT trying to make sure everything is current.
Any ideas?

Most of the 2.24 configs load into 3.0 fine, certain things don't but likely they are custom made data logging pids.
You can run both 2.24 and 3.0 on the same computer too, just a FYI. 3.0 logs so much faster too. And just because it doesn't load your configs shouldn't be the only reason not to use it. Just man up and learn to use it and start making your own new "config files".
Also this thread dates back to august of last year, 3.0 wasn't even close to being out yet lol.

This was from quite a while ago. I did my segment swap with the beta and it wouldn't log Rpms in 2.24 until after I removed the beta and reinstalled 2.24. I know it wasn't the CFG file because I use the same CFG.
