Default Sunroof Gasket

Does anyone know where you can buy one at? From what Ive read it looks like you can only buy the glass and gasket assembly together which is well north of $700. I really only need the gasket itself. It doesnt look like anything special and actually looks a lot like the gasket on my wife's civic. Ive looked on ebay and done a few google searches with no luck.

Thanks, just getting annoyed with this crap. I spent 3 hours today just messing with adjusting the sunroof. There are four screws that attach teh glass to the track assembly for adjustment. Id get one corner sealed up and the other corner would leak. Took the whole damn thing out and tried again, and again, and again. Id like to replace the seal before I try and seal it back up again. Im running short on patience at the moment and ended up putting packing tape around the seal so the interior doesnt get wet again with the rain we've got coming

Are you sure it's the sunroof leaking, and not the windshield? Sunroof leaks are very uncommon, whereas windshield leaks are very common.

Back in my dealership days, almost every customer complaint of a sunroof leak was actually the windshield. Try taping off the sunroof and going thru a car wash.

Third brake light has become the #1 offender around here.

It's definitely the sunroof. There was a little gap in the seal on the passenger side front corner. Kept adjusting it and using a cup of water to pour on the seal with my brother inlaw inside watching with a paper towel. I'd get one corner sealed then the other would leak. I'm going to blow out the two drain tubes once I figure out what I'm going to do with the seal.

I've read a lot of places say the sunroof is designed to leak a little, I'm not ok with that. I want that **** sealed up.

#24 is a seal, and can be serviced seperately. The part number is 20814007, and lists for $43.89, my local dealer has one on the shelf.

There's the breakdown on the parts. Your drain tubes are likely clogged. IIRC, the seal is not designed to keep all the water out. The water that gets around the seal is supposed to fall into the sunroof channel (read: gutter), and then drain out the tubes.

Good luck with the fix! Water leaks suck!

Man, I REALLY appreciate it. According to that drawing there are four drain tubes. I only saw the two but that's because they're up front obviously. I don't think I can access the back two without dropping the headliner. I suppose I can try to find the end of the back by the C pilar and shot some air up it the reverse way. Either way it seems I need to clear my drain tubes, and realign the glass. The seal is probably alright it seems but I'm going to replace it anyway. I'd really rather not have my new-to-me truck destroyed by something easily preventable. Thanks again, one of these days I'm going to have to box up q care package with some Coors light for you.
