FAST did a complete swing and miss with this intake. when it seals, it runs great at WOT. 99.999% of the time, our street trucks are not at WOT.
Couldnt agree more. If I could i'd love to be able to sue or backcharge fast/comp for all my wasted time. And im sure plenty of other people would be interested in doing the same.

Totally the opposite experience with me. Purrs like a kitten at idle and slow speeds, screams at WOT, and gained power all over the place. Very solid and no flexing either. No downside whatsoever, and I couldn't be happier with it.

The problem with that is u are in the minority. When a product has the majority of the people that buy it say its a piece of crap, its gotta be poor quality control and u just happened to have gotten a good one.

None of fasts other intakes have this much negative feedback...and they have seemingly done nothing to help with the situation. In fact they usually tell whomever it is that speaks to them that its the first theyve heard of it. When its obviously not.

For those having tuning issues with the LSXRT, are all of you running 102 mm TB's cause I'm betting thats the problem right there. The larger 102 TB's are just a bitch to tune although the cable style TB's are alot easier than the DBW electronic units.

I have ported numerous truck intakes for folks and never had an issue with the ones I sent out although ultimately that rests on the capabilities of the tuner.

Just curious if the guys experincing the issues are using 102 TB's and whether they are cable or DBW style

Cheers,
Tony

Well personally mine was cable tb and mine was a 102mm tb. Because to me it doesnt make sense to have a 102 mm intake and only use a 92mm tb.

But my issue was definitely vacuum leak. And almost everyone that ive read about had problems with warped intakes/improper sealing aka vacuum leaks.

Not tuning issues...but im sure that has been the issue for a few people.
