thats very well possible bill, but with a spun rod bearing i would have found some type of metallic material in the oil and wouldnt the noise continue through the rpms and just not at idle ?

Actually a cracked flywheel. Noise would go away with a little throttle. But anyway.. Just trying to help.

A cable TB sticking at WOT? Is the spring on it damaged? Or is the gas pedal catching on the carpet or something?

You sure you didn't over rev it and bend some pushrods?

cant explain but it does and its not the cable, but the crank pulley solved the wide open throttle shutting down issue ..it must have something to do with the TPS and rpms since the slp crank pulley failed.

now for update, well i pulled the motor anticipating what the hell i was gonna find, after having the motor out and on a stand, started taking things part, i needed to turn the crank so i grabbed the TCI flex plate, well guess what? all 6 bolts were loose, the flex plate would move back and forth and i was like ***** fugging damn blah blah blah lol.. so i decided to check further into the motor, pulled rear main cap and checked bearing, looked really good, pulled another and also a rod cap all looked perfect. soooo since the motor is out, i'll have it studded with ARP rod bolts in the lower assembly..i would go as far as reringing it BUT why? theres hardly any miles on it ( less 5700 ) so i'll stud it and oil it and wrap it and put it on the shelf for a rainy day

so the 2 issues were the slp pulley and the damn bolts that hold the flexplate on to the crank wtf!!!

The bolts backing out in regards to a TCI flexplate was a pretty common occurrence due to the coating on the flexplate itself. Most people recommended removing the coating where the bolts contacted the flexplate.
