Angry Some ebay users really **** me off!!!!

Sorry, guys, but I had to vent a little. Won a new Eaton using buy it now on Dec. 14th. Didn't recieve an email from the user telling me "congrats, got payment, etc". Only thing I received was my receipt of payment from paypal. So, I email the guy on the 21 asking if it had shipped. I received an email saying the shop is closed for the holiday week, blah, blah... It had been a week and this is the first email I get from the guy, and only after I sent one to him. Well, now it's the 30th and I still haven't received any more emails from this guy concerning my Eaton. Let me guess, they took 2 weeks off for the holidays, right? I just sent another email to this guy, not quite as polite as the first one. If this guy jerks my chain anymore, I swear to God.... Don't you just love terrible ebay users!!! At least they could have sent me an email telling me they were closed that week, or better yet, post it in the auction. Damn, it isn't that hard to do!!!

Yeah, I was about to bid on a couple of supercharger on there before one was the old style mount magnacharger. It started out at 800 so I put on a spending cap of 1300 2 days later is was up to 1800 way over priced in my book. Then there was a Whipple for 2500 and I thought that was too good to be true and I dont want to get burned on something that expensive. I just stay away from it. I thought you can get good deals on stuff but it just turns into a bidding war and all the sudden stuff gets way over priced. I hope you get your Eaton posi, and a explaination of why it took so long you deserve it.

Update: Just got an email with a legit tracking number and an apology for shipping delay. It is scheduled to be here January 9th, right about when I was planning on putting it in the shop, so all is well I hope.

I guess it's worth the wait... a brand new sealed Eaton for $306 shipped is a pretty sweet deal.

That sucks man. I would much rather wait and hope an established member here will have something I need for sale than to go with Ebay. I try not to spend money on anything I cant afford to take a loss on when buying through Ebay. I did get my Belltech lowering kit for $100 ( list is liek $350 I think) and Vortech bypass for $100 (vortech wanted $239).

I love it when they post crap on there and they know they are going to be out of town or something. If you are going out of town wait till you get back to sell your crap on E-bay.
