Nice deal on the Eaton!
I used eBay for some of the purchases during the engine build. Almost every time it turned into a bidding war with some sniper and THEN I would get the "second chance" offer for my max bid. I told each one sell it to me for my original winning bid before getting sniped but never got a response. It is called phantom bidding and is a way for sellers to avoid minumum bids or reserves. Sellers use multiple accounts or friends to bid up items. It is illegal and very hard to prove. Pisses me off. Even PayPal turns out to be a horrible deal if you have a dispute.
BTW, I got great deals on this site and never got burned ( luckily ).

I had the same thing happen with a hood I was bidding on. Too bad so sad, not interested in it anymore was my response. They ended up selling it for $50 below what I had bid. Good to see everything appears to be working out Slowprocess

HPTuners isn't shipping anything this week, or last week (Christmas week). My order, which was recieved before Christmas, is still waiting to be shipped.

I sure as hell wished I would have known that before placing my order. That means, they have been sitting on my order and my money for 2 weeks now.

Flyer, would you believe about 1/2 hour before reading your post I sent both their e-mail and their forum a nastygram asking "Where the L is my HPTuners?". I don't know how you came across your info, but would it really have killed them to put a post on their forum saying they weren't shipping during the holidays???

Anyway, thanks for the info.

In a reply to the second email I sent them asking where the hell my stuff was at.

I was also told that cannot and will not expedite my order once they do begin shipping again.

I need this stuff for more than just tuning my truck. I have a couple of folks lined out to tune their trucks and could really use the income.
