This weekend i had the opertunity to run a late 90s RCLB 2wd with a vortec 350.
Each time i got him but it was very close. the last time was the best i got him by a truck length.

Now i have an 03 ECSB Z71 with a 4.8. and only the mods i have on my Sig.

Should i be proud of my baby V8? or should i have done better?

 

thats pretty good i think for a ext cab 4.8 z71. i guess that truck was a 96-98 model since you said it had a vortec. some of those trucks will run out pretty good. i know a guy that has one that runs like 9.6 in the 1/8 i think

yea, a friend of mine has a 99 denali with the 350 in it, but im not sure if I wanna run him. He just got the motor rebuilt about 2 months ago. not sure if the 4.8 could keep up with him, although he only has a cheap *** chip and 22's.
