Default The old truck was making me proud in 12+ inches of snow.

We got a major snowstorm today, and I had a great time with the big truck.

Cars were stuck all over the place, people in the ditch. I just hit the 4x4 and locked up the front E locker and away I went. I was even lugging around my big covered snowmobile trailer full of sleds and she plowed right through everything.

I was proud of her.

Once you had the locker locked, did you feel any torque steer when accelerating. I do with my big meats. That sthe main reason I want the E-locker.

wow, i remember i had a 93 explorer and it had snowed like 2 feet in indiana, well i put that bitch in low 4 and had a sweet time in my front yard, my mom came out and started yelling at me, and when i wouldnt stop she started throwing snowballs at me.

that was back when they made the xplorers good though. luckily now i dont have to worry about it in tucson.

I thought about that yesterday while I was driving around because I remembered you mentioning the torque steer issue previously. I noticed the E locker did decrease the torque steer issue during acceleration a good bit it seemed like. It also seemed like it was helping to keep the truck driving straight while cruising. You know how the truck kinda darts side to side while you're driving through deep snow with ruts and stuff from other people driving around. I thought the E locker really helped a lot with that.

ya, it is pretty sweet to be able to drive around when the snow is up to your front bumper.
