True, but if I would have built the 408 to start with then i'd be buying a new set of pistons, boring, and having to re-balance right now anyhow. The not building the 408 to start with has nothing to do with the injector leaning a cyl out.

With that small of a turbo and a 408 you're going to get into boost real quick for sure.

Good, it was laggy on the 364. The manual tranny is probably the reason for that. An auto with a 3k+ stall and it would have been fine i'd guess.

There is a chance some trash got in there and damaged it from when I did the fuel system mods.

When you get the 408 in there you are certainly going to want to watch the IAT's. That turbo is a bit too small for a 408 and will likely be blowing hot air once you get it cranked up.
