I've heard its pretty easy, but I'm gonna get mine installed at JAG performance just to be safe. If you have done clutch work and stuff before it shouldn't be too hard for you.

There is nothing hard about it but, if it's the first time you installed one it can be a little intimidating. Also, budget about 2-3 times as much time as you think it'll take.

The guy in the video will **** you off cause he makes it look SOOOOOOOO easy.

It's pretty straight-forward, but make sure you follow the PRINTED instructions over anything the video has to say. The video is generic and helps by showing what the parts look like, but the written instructions (which aren't exactly written very well) are what you need to follow EXACTLY for whatever application you have. Don't be skeered - it's only a tranny!

I've done several. It's a lengthy, messy job if you do it yourself. The instructions are not crystal clear. Jack up the truck, drain the pan and begin. I prefer to work on the truck when it is not hot. You will need metric sockets, o-ring pliers, a drill and lot's of rags. Give yourself at least half a day and take your time.

exactly what he said on the video thing ^^^
I took apart so much that I didnt need to

I also went to lowes and got me one of those $3 tubs
to keep the mess down to a minimum
but I still ended up with a mess and think I drank about
a qt of that ****

I used a very thin coat of white lithium grease to help hold
the gaskets on the seperator plate

I also used paper bowls to keep everything seperated and in order

hope this helps
but the lift will help the most
