Default Seafoam'd my 118k truck and barely any smoke

Used seafoam for the first time tonight on my truck. As far as i know, its never been cleaned.

used 8 ounces in the brake booster line. Wasn't really sure how slow i needed to pour as i didn't want to stall it early. It started smoking a little bit right as i finished pouring it in.

Changed my oil in the 15 minutes it says to let it sit. Got everything all buttoned up and started the truck. No signature seafoam smoke.

Did i do something wrong??? My engine has got to be dirtier than that

Suck up the whole can and let it sit for an hour or two to have a chance to break up the carbon...you'll get your smoke.

hahaha uhh...

mine was freakin weird, i let it suck up like 3/4 of the bottle and shut it off and it sat there and sputtered and barely kept turning over for like a full minute and i was standing out side it with the keys in my hand thinking WTH is going on

yea, mine did the same. Turned off the ign at it keep trying to turn over. Let it sit for about 20 min. started it up and I got some smoke. Alot more than the last time I did it. I say you need at least 3/4 of the bottle for it to work.

lol, if the motor keeps turning after you removed the keys, i would say you poured it on too fast lol.

some will smoke, some wont. mine smoked like a train at 50,000 miles. i had oil consumption problems though and found it all in the intake lol. i did a friends at 120k and it barely let a fog loose.

lol.... I used the entire bottle when i did mine on the LQ9... I poured it slowly, after the entire bottle was consumed, i turned it off for about 15min... Then i started it up and took a drive... The first time i gave it moderate throttle it started smoking like a john force burnout.... Then i went WOT, and it completely smoked out the road, people were stopping waiting for the smoke to clear.... then it continued smoking for 15miles, not heavy but noticeable... Then i let it idle in my driveway for 20min or so and it finally stopped smoking...

I've seafoamed many different vehicles, always used the same method, and it seems to be hit or miss as to whether they smoke or not. It seems that the Seafoam alone would cause a ton of smoke, but not always. Weird.
