So what im lookig for is a prebent roll cage for 00 silverado does anyone kno who makes one??

 

Jegs sales them for trucks, 8pt cage is around $260 i believe. still have to weld it all up.

 

I've seen one of those jegs style cages. It was the most uncomfortable cobbled (even with pro install) jobs I've ever seen. I went with a custom rollcage and I am very happy with the quality, fit, and visual looks.

 

Go custom. Cages are like tunes; sure the generic ones work, but they aren't nearly as nicely finished.

 

yea probably get what you pay for. i wondered how the fit was when they list them for multiple vehicles. custom seems to be the way than.

 

Usually the pieces run long and of course are not notched. Also, the pre bent cages tend to be on the loose side. I've never seen a pre bent cage that just needs to be welded and is tight to the shape of your truck. I would advise a custom cage. If you decide to do the cage yourself let me know, I can give you a few pointers.

 

U would think they would have one custome bent for silverados they have one for every other car or truck gay!!!!! I can build one Just dont have the time so i guess its time to make some calls around get some quotes anyone have a ballpark price that its going to cost
