How can I remove my back seat??????? How is it attached to the back of the cab?????????

 

It isnt attached to the back of the cab, its just 4 bolts on the floor. Actually I think you may have 2 bolts on the back wall, but i dont remember exactly, the newer trucks have the straps for the child seats, but i dont remember how they attached to the seat, I havent taken my backseat out in a while...

either way its real simple and straight forward

 

99-00....4 nuts 18mm 2 per side

01-04....same as above with a couple of straps. (not sure what size the bolts on the staps are)

 

What Greggo said plus the back of the seat has 2 hooks near the top of the seat so after unbolting the seat you have to lift up enough to clear the hooks.

That seat should be worth at least .05 seconds. I was looking hard at mine last Friday night. I do know the spare and tailgate are coming off next time. I have heard these are worth around .1 seconds.
