I believe your issue with not being able to find the VMAX package is you have the offroad package checked. I do not think VMAX is avaiable with Z71.

 

I also got the light duty package and it is awesome but go for the 410s like every1 is saying it will be worth it. But one thing is the G86 a new thing for 06 i got the light duty package but i think i got the G80 but whats the difference.

 

ive tried taking the offroad package off but still no other engine choices, is it available on the crew? or just extended cab?

 

Correct Sir,RPO Z71 is overated and over priced anyways,alot of people buy it for the sticker on the bed sides.

 

Just buy the skidplates on ebay for $20. Get good shocks too.

 

ok guys ive relooked rechose everything and still cant find that package, could someone try to config it and show me how they did it? and it is available on the crew cab? ive found a 310hp on extended cab only.

but if i were to go to a dealer would it be available on the gmc? i found it on chevys site but i was leaning towards the gmc because i like the front rather than the new chevy front.

 

Walk into GMC or chevy and they can spec you one just ask for NHT RPO code. Chevy site? I was on there yesterday and they didnt offer it at least with my zip code.

I think the NHT RPO code must only be available in certain parts of the country. It doesn't show up on the Chevy site with my zipcode and I can't find a truck with it in southeast Texas and south Louisiana but I did see an ECSB VortecMax Z-71 in Springfield Mo recently. I was thinking about getting a Duramax w/LBZ but I like the VortecMax w/ 4.10's. Only wish I could find out more info on the 4L70.
